I'm Lorinda Morenike Linnen, Minister of Health & Wellness and founder of Sun & Moon Ministry and Sun & Moon Naturally LLC. For 30 years, I have walked alongside people as a healthcare professional, Licensed Physical Therapist, and Community Health Educator.
My health-conscious journey was sparked by my realization, when I was in high school, that I had lost all of my Grandparents before their 70's to preventable diseases. By the time I looked around my Parents and about 80% of my surviving Aunts and Uncles also had preventable dis-eases. I decided to alter my fate and not give in to the fear of supposedly "inheriting" something I could avoid simply by changing my lifestyle.
My interest expanded into natural skin and hair care, when I could not find truly natural products gentle enough for mine and my family's skin and hair, so I started creating my own body wash and shampoo, hot oil treatments, shaving cream and moisture-rich body butters made with nourishing essential oil blends. All ingredients inspired by the healthiest skincare advice I have ever received: if you can eat it or drink it, it is safe to use on your skin. That simple wisdom shaped my approach to clean, intentional skincare and inspired the creation of two of my signature favorites: “Liquid Black Gold” Body Wash and “I’m Just Butta Baby” Body Butter.
Eventually I was led to Energy Healing — a path where science and spirit come together in harmony. This transformation wasn't just professional; it was deeply personal, rooted in an understanding my Native Ancestors embodied— that true healing encompasses more than just the physical body.
Through decades of healthcare experience, I witnessed the profound connection between emotional well-being and physical health, inspiring me to expand my practice beyond traditional boundaries.
